Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 bags(28 ounces) flaked coconut,(14 ounces each)
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 box (1 pound) powdered sugar,sifted
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond flavoring
  • 1/4 teaspoon coconut flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Coating:
  • 1 bag (12 ounce) chocolate chips
  • 2 ounces paraffin wax

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all candy ingredients in a bowl.

  • Step 2: Pour into a 9x13-inch cookie sheet.

  • Step 3: Chill.(freezer)

  • Step 4: Slice into candy shaped bars.

  • Step 5: Use toothpick to dip in chocolate coating.

  • Step 6: Melt paraffin in a medium pan on very low heat.

  • Step 7: Add chocolate chips and stir till melted (VERY LOW HEAT or chocolate will burn).

  • Step 8: Melt chips and paraffin in top of double boiler. Dip squares on chocolate and set on waxed paper.

  • Step 9: Dip and enjoy.
