Step 1: Combine the cinnamon chips with the half and half in a small bowl.

Step 4: Mix together the flour, sugar , baking powder, and salt.
Step 5: Add the cold butter and just mix until crumbly.
Step 6: Add the egg and vanilla to the cinnamon-milk mixture, stirring to combine.
Step 7: Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until all is moistened and holds together
Step 8: Mix the filling and mix the glaze to have ready
Step 9: On a well floured surface
Step 10: Pat dough into a 9-inch square.
Step 11: Spread the filling over the dough.
Step 12: Fold one edge into the center and over the filling.
Step 13: Fold the remaining edge over the center.
Step 14: Gently pat into a 3-inch x 18-inch rectangle.
Step 15: Cut the rectangle into SIX 3-inch squares.
Step 16: Transfer the squares to a lightly greased baking sheet.
Step 17: Cut the square in half.
Step 18: Separate 1-inch apart.
Step 19: Bake at 400° for 15 to 17 minutes in a preheated oven
Step 20: As soon as the scones come out of the oven remove them from the cookie sheet to a cooling rack.
Step 21: Cool completely.
Step 22: Coat each scone with glaze.
