Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound of celeric (peeled, cut in to pieces)
  • 1 1/2 pound carrots, scraped (peeled, cut into pieces)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped parsley, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter (or margarine)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the celeric and carrots in a large saucepan, cover with water, bring to a boil, cook for about 20 minutes or until they are tender

  • Step 2: Drain, Combine the celeric and carrots, add butter, coarsely mash them

  • Step 3: Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle on the parsley. If you wish serve with nob of butter or margerine
