  • 1 1/2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled, chopped
  • 16 ounces light cream
