Step 1: Knead the almonds, powdered sugar, vanilla ,butter and amaretto liqueur into a smooth mass, divide into 16 portions and shape into small, finger-thick rolls.
Step 2: Roll out each crescent roll
Step 3: Place a small almond amaretto roll on the wide end of each piece of roll and roll up into croissants towards the top.
Step 4: Brush the croissants with egg yolk and place them well apart on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Step 5: Bake in the preheated oven on the middle shelf at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes until light yellow.(check time given on package)
Step 6: After baking, allow the almond amaretto croissants to cool completely on the baking tray and shake powdered sugar on top
