  • 16 ounces dry spaghetti
  • 6 cups water, boiling
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces bacon,(8 strips),diced
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 1 cup green bell peppers,diced
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water,fill up tomato sauce can
  • 1 teaspoon salt,(garlic)
  • 1/2 teaspoons pepper,to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook spaghetti in heavily salted boiling water and drain saving 1/2 cup pasta water

  • Step 2: Meanwhile

  • Step 3: Cook bacon until crisp

  • Step 4: Remove drain grease saving 2 tablespoons

  • Step 5: Coon onions and peppers until translucent

  • Step 6: Add tomato sauce and rinse out can with water simmer until done

  • Step 7: Season to taste

  • Step 8: They just used salt And pepper

  • Step 9: I'm using garlic salt

  • Step 10: Put all dente spaghetti into sauce and cook a bit

  • Step 11: Adding pasta water if it's to thick

  • Step 12: Toss in bacon at the end

  • Step 13: Add pepper sauce at end if using
