  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoons oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (15 ounces)green beans
  • 1 can (28 ounces) tomatoes, crushed
  • 1 clove garlic, smashed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 16 ounces dry macaroni
  • 6 ounces edam cheese, grated

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook macaroni until just al dente

  • Step 2: Drain

  • Step 3: Meanwhile

  • Step 4: Heat oil add onions and cook until translucent

  • Step 5: Add ground beef and garlic

  • Step 6: Season to taste

  • Step 7: Drain oil if needed

  • Step 8: Add tomatoes and green beans undrained

  • Step 9: Simmer

  • Step 10: Until macaroni is almost

  • Step 11: Cooked

  • Step 12: Add macaroni to finish cooking in sauce

  • Step 13: At very end add cheese off the heat

  • Step 14: Season to taste
