Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons yellow cornmeal
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoons paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 8 ounces boneless, skinless chicken breasts,(4)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 ounces hamburger buns,(4)
  • 16 pickle slices
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oil to 375 F in deep fryer

  • Step 2: Combine the water and beaten egg in a shallow bowl that will fit your chicken breasts, and whisk well.

  • Step 3: In a second shallow dish

  • Step 4: Combine with a whisk, the flour, cornmeal, salt, onion powder, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika and sugar.

  • Step 5: Use a meat tenderizer and pound chicken breasts until thinner.

  • Step 6: Dredge the chicken breasts by coating both sides of each chicken breast in egg mixture, then transferring into flour mixture.

  • Step 7: Once both sides of the chicken are coated in flour, they can be placed onto a tray.

  • Step 8: Deep-fry the chicken pieces for eight to 12 minutes,

  • Step 9: Until the chicken has an internal temperature of 165 F. And is floating

  • Step 10: Remove fried chicken to a paper towel-lined plate .

  • Step 11: Brush buns with butter and then toast the buns in the pan.

  • Step 12: Assemble your sandwiches by placing the chicken breast on the bottom bun

  • Step 13: Smear mayonnaise on top bun

  • Step 14: Topping the chicken with 4 pickle slices each

  • Step 15: Then closing the sandwich
