Step 1: Combine bran, oats, wheat germ, cinnamon and salt. Add milk and let stand 1/2 hour.
Step 2: Add honey, eggs and oil, mix well.
Step 3: Stir together flour, baking powder and baking soda; add to egg mixture, all at once. Stir just until moistened; add raisins. Fill large greased muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake in 375°F oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
Step 4: *Note:Sour the milk by placing 1 teaspoon vinegar or lemon juice in a measuring cup and adding milk to measure 1 cup.
