  • 1 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 teaspoons caraway seeds,(it said 2 tablespoons)
  • 1/8 cup walnuts,chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit Whisk flour, salt and baking powder.

  • Step 2: Add seeds

  • Step 3: Whisk

  • Step 4: Cut in butter until it forms pea size pieces.

  • Step 5: Stir in sugar,nuts, and raisins

  • Step 6: Mix.

  • Step 7: Combine milk, egg and egg yolk, beating well.

  • Step 8: Add to flour mixture.

  • Step 9: Fold gently but do not beat.

  • Step 10: Mix just until combined

  • Step 11: Pour into well-greased loaf pan.

  • Step 12: Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
