Step 2: Leave in hot water until ready to fill
Step 3: In double boiler
Step 4: Mix the port sugar and spices
Step 5: Boil mixing constantly with a whisk
Step 6: For 2 minutes
Step 7: Put on direct heat and add liquid pectin
Step 8: Bring to a rolling boil for 1 minute
Step 9: Skim off foam
Step 10: Pour into hot jar with a metal knife in jar so you dont break jar
Step 11: Seal
Step 12: Or seal with wax cool then add lid
