  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes (1 can)
  • 5 ounces white bread, (5 slices)
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage
  • Gravy
  • 1/4 ounce brown gravy (1 package)
  • 1/4 cup water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix the juice of tomatoes with the torn up bread.

  • Step 2: Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Step 3: Mix 1/2 the tomatoes with the meat, seasonings and onions.

  • Step 4: Make a loaf and put in pan.

  • Step 5: Pour the rest of tomatoes over meatloaf.

  • Step 6: Cover and bake for 45 minutes.

  • Step 7: Uncover and add water in if needed.

  • Step 8: Mix gravy ingredients together and pour in pan.

  • Step 9: Bake 15 minutes more.

  • Step 10: Pour gravy over sliced slices of meatloaf.
