  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar,sifted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup raspberry preserves
  • 4 ounces raspberries

How to Make

  • Step 1: A medium bowl

  • Step 2: Use an electric mixer to whisk the cream cheese, egg, sifted powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  • Step 3: Set aside.

  • Step 4: When the dough rounds have risen, preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

  • Step 5: Use the bottom of a glass or measuring cup to press a deep well into the center of each dough round.

  • Step 6: Fill each well with about two tablespoons of cream cheese filling. Swirl 2 teaspoons of raspberry preserves into the filling of each well.

  • Step 7: Put in a couple of fresh raspberries

  • Step 8: For a golden sheen

  • Step 9: Brush the outer rim of the dough with an egg wash (1 egg beaten + 1 teaspoon water) before baking.

  • Step 10: Bake at 375 degrees for 14 minutes, or until light golden brown.

  • Step 11: Transfer to a cooling rack, and then dust with powdered sugar
