Ingredients

  • 8 ounces dry bowtie pasta
  • 1 jar (16 ounces ounce) salsa
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 can(15 ounces) black beans ,drained
  • 1 can( 15 ounces) corn,undrained
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Garnish :
  • 8 ounces mexican blend cheese
  • 2 green onions,minced
  • 2 ounces sour cream
  • 1 tablespoons pickled jalapenos,
  • Chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a Dutch oven, preferably nonstick

  • Step 2: Combine pasta, salsa, water, beans, corn, butter, chili powder, cumin and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Boil 10 minutes

  • Step 3: And sauce has formed, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 4: Top with cheese,jalapenos, sour cream and green onion.
