Step 1: Combine strawberries, rhubarb, sugar, flour, salt and spices. Toss to mix thoroughly.
Step 2: Pile into Pastry-lined pie plate. Dot with butter.
Step 3: Cover with plain or lattice top crust. Build up pastry edges and seal well.
Step 4: Bake in 425°F oven for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350°F for about 50 minutes longer.
