  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons butter

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a medium bowl

  • Step 2: Beat egg yolks until light.

  • Step 3: Add sour cream, milk, and salt and mix until smooth.

  • Step 4: Mix in flour

  • Step 5: In a separate medium bowl

  • Step 6: Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Fold the egg whites into the yolk-flour mixture, trying not to deflate the volume

  • Step 7: Add a small amount of butter to a nonstick skillet and portion onto it generous tablespoons of batter.

  • Step 8: Fry until golden, flip and fry until the other side is golden.

  • Step 9: Serve hot with honey or preserves.
