Step 1: In a medium bowl
Step 2: Beat egg yolks until light.
Step 3: Add sour cream, milk, and salt and mix until smooth.
Step 4: Mix in flour
Step 5: In a separate medium bowl
Step 6: Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Fold the egg whites into the yolk-flour mixture, trying not to deflate the volume
Step 7: Add a small amount of butter to a nonstick skillet and portion onto it generous tablespoons of batter.
Step 8: Fry until golden, flip and fry until the other side is golden.
Step 9: Serve hot with honey or preserves.
