  • 1⁄4 cup butter,softened

How to Make

  • Step 1: This uses a smaller waffle iron that is heart shaped so a regular waffle iron will make less waffles

  • Step 2: Beat eggs and sugar until thick and fluffy, about 10 minutes.

  • Step 3: Beat in the butter

  • Step 4: Alternately

  • Step 5: Fold in the flour, which has been sifted with lemon peel with sour cream.

  • Step 6: Add lemon juice

  • Step 7: Set batter aside to rest 15 minutes.

  • Step 8: Measure 1/4 cup batter

  • Step 9: Bake in a buttered heavily pam sprayed hot waffle iron
