Step 1: Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a wok
Step 2: Add the okra and stir-fry over a high heat for 2 minutes
Step 3: Until the slices are piping hot, tender and slightly scorched around the edges. Remove from the wok and set aside.
Step 4: Add remaining cooking oil into the wok, add the black beans, garlic and ginger and stir-fry briefly over a high flame
Step 5: Add the okra and mix everything together.
Step 6: Season with pepper and salt to taste.
Step 7: Add sesame oil
