Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound okra,cut on diagonal
  • 1 fresh red chili ,cut on diagonal
  • 2 tablespoons red bell pepper,minced
  • 2 cloves garlic,smashed
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger,grated
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoons fermented black beans
  • 1 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a wok

  • Step 2: Add the okra and stir-fry over a high heat for 2 minutes

  • Step 3: Until the slices are piping hot, tender and slightly scorched around the edges. Remove from the wok and set aside.

  • Step 4: Add remaining cooking oil into the wok, add the black beans, garlic and ginger and stir-fry briefly over a high flame

  • Step 5: Add the okra and mix everything together.

  • Step 6: Season with pepper and salt to taste.

  • Step 7: Add sesame oil
