Step 1: Cut the cucumbers into quarters lengthwise and slice off the center to remove the seeds.
Step 2: For large cucumbers further cut the quarters into eights lengthwise.
Step 3: Then cut into two-inch long pieces.
Step 4: Add the salt and garlic then mix well. Refrigerate the cucumbers for about 30 minutes.
Step 5: When ready to serve
Step 6: Drain the salt extracted juice from the cucumber pieces and arrange on a plate. Be sure to retain the garlic.
Step 7: Pour the sesame oil over the cucumber and serve chilled.
