Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 ounces raw boneless skinless chicken breasts,diced small
  • 1 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 9 ounces cooked white rice,(2 cups),cold
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoons oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoons onion powder
  • 4 eggs,beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 2 mushrooms,minced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix the chicken and cornstarch and broth

  • Step 2: Season lightly

  • Step 3: Next

  • Step 4: Mix soy sauce and oyster sauce

  • Step 5: Pour onto rice that is day old and dry

  • Step 6: Should be brownish

  • Step 7: Let set

  • Step 8: Beat eggs with 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce season lightly

  • Step 9: Heat wok

  • Step 10: Pour half in and make omelet

  • Step 11: Take out ,mince

  • Step 12: Add oil,just a light swirl

  • Step 13: Add chicken cook

  • Step 14: Until done add mushrooms (onions if using)

  • Step 15: Take out add to omelet

  • Step 16: Add oil again light swirl

  • Step 17: Add rice and peas and carrots

  • Step 18: Cook

  • Step 19: Move to side add rest of eggs

  • Step 20: Scramble

  • Step 21: Mix with rice

  • Step 22: Season

  • Step 23: Add eggs chicken mixture

  • Step 24: Check for seasonings

  • Step 25: (Mix in green onion here)
