Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 7 ounces dry white rice,(1 cup)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 ounces dry orzo pasta,(1/2 cup)
  • 1 cup onions,chopped
  • 1 clove garlic,smashed
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 lemons ,juice
  • 1 tablespoons lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup parsley,minced
  • 1 teaspoons dried dill weed

How to Make

  • Step 1: Soak rice for 15 minutes

  • Step 2: Drain

  • Step 3: Heat oil saute onions until opaque

  • Step 4: Add pasta brown

  • Step 5: Add garlic

  • Step 6: Add rice, juice, broth ,dilllemon juice and zest of 1 lemon

  • Step 7: Cover

  • Step 8: Simmer 20 minutes

  • Step 9: Let stand 10 minutes

  • Step 10: Add parsley
