Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 7 ounces dry lentils ,(1 ½ cups)
  • 4 ½ cups vegetable broth
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • Mix in :
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 cup onions ,minced
  • 1/4 cup carrots,diced
  • 1 stalk celery,minced
  • 2 green onions,minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Bring to a Boil the lentils with the salt and Vegetable broth

  • Step 2: Cover and simmer

  • Step 3: For 25 minutes until plump and tender

  • Step 4: In a saute pan

  • Step 5: Heat oil add carrots and celery

  • Step 6: Add onions cook until tender

  • Step 7: Add paprika

  • Step 8: Add to lentils

  • Step 9: Season to taste
