Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 5 cups water
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper
  • 3 green onions, minced
  • 1 ounce bacon, diced
  • 1/4 cup frozen green peas
  • 2 mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon beef bouillon
  • 1 package (3 ounce) beef ramen noodle soup,with seasoning packet
  • 1 1/3 cups cabbage kimchi, chopped
  • 1 tablespoons maggi

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the water in a large saucepan and set aside.

  • Step 2: Cut the carrot in half lengthwise, then crosswise in ¼-inch slices.

  • Step 3: Cut the celery stalk in half lengthwise, then crosswise in ¼-inch slices.

  • Step 4: Quarter the bell pepper lengthwise, then cut crosswise in ¼-inch slices.

  • Step 5: Add the carrot, celery, green onions and bacon to the saucepan of water.

  • Step 6: Bring to a boil, then boil gently, uncovered, 15 minutes.

  • Step 7: Add the maggi, bell pepper, peas, mushrooms, the bouillon (cube), the package of ramen noodles and seasoning.

  • Step 8: Cook 4 minutes.

  • Step 9: Add the kimchi and cook 5 minutes more.

  • Step 10: Season to taste
