Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Chicken:
  • 8 ounces boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • Sauce:
  • 2 tablespoons chinese rice wine
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • Vegetables:
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup carrots ,sliced thin
  • 1 cup onions,chopped chopped
  • 1 cup red bell peppers,chopped
  • 1 cup yellow bell pepper,chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves,smashed
  • 8 ounces raw shrimp,peeled

How to Make

  • Step 1: Chicken:

  • Step 2: Slice the chicken into thin cuts.

  • Step 3: Add the chicken into a mixing bowl, then sprinkle baking soda on top.

  • Step 4: Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  • Step 5: Wash the chicken with water, really well

  • Step 6: Then use paper towels to pat them dry. Sauce:

  • Step 7: In a mixing bowl

  • Step 8: Add the ingredients for the sauce.

  • Step 9: Stir until well combined.

  • Step 10: Vegetable:

  • Step 11: Heat wok

  • Step 12: Add 1 tablespoon of oil and allow it to become hot.

  • Step 13: Add the chicken

  • Step 14: And cook for about 2 minutes or until almost done.

  • Step 15: Remove the chicken from the wok.

  • Step 16: Add the rest of the oil into the wok, then add the onion and carrots.

  • Step 17: Sauté for about a minute.

  • Step 18: Add the bell peppers and sauté until tender but crisp.

  • Step 19: Add the shrimp and chicken and garlic. Cook for 2 more minutes.

  • Step 20: Stir the sauce to combine cornstarch

  • Step 21: Add sauce to wok

  • Step 22: Then simmer until the texture of the sauce becomes thick.

  • Step 23: Cook everything for 2 more minutes.
