Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 16 ounces dry fettuccine
  • 6 cups water,boiling
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • Sauce:
  • 6 tablespoons shallots, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 16 ounces light cream, (1 cup)
  • 16 ounces sour cream,(1 cup)
  • 16 ounces parmesan cheese,grated (1 cup)
  • 3 tablespoons chives,minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Add salt to boiling water

  • Step 2: Add pasta

  • Step 3: Add oil

  • Step 4: Cook until al dente going to finish in sauce

  • Step 5: Keep 1/2 cup pasta water drain and put in sauce when that's done

  • Step 6: Sauce in stockpot

  • Step 7: Heat shallots in butter until opaque

  • Step 8: Add chicken stock and cook 5 minutes

  • Step 9: Add noodles

  • Step 10: Add light cream and sour cream

  • Step 11: Toss and simmer dont boil season

  • Step 12: Add cheese and chives off the heat

  • Step 13: Toss

  • Step 14: Cover and let set 5 minutes if sauce is to tight add some pasta water

  • Step 15: Season to taste
