Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 ounces long grain rice
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 ounces flaked almonds,toasted,(1/4 cup)
  • 2 ounces seedless black grapes,halved,(1/3 cup)
  • 3 ounces seedless green grapes,halved,(1/2 cup)
  • 1/4 cup watercress,chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook rice in water covered for 20 minutes

  • Step 2: Let sit covered 10 minutes

  • Step 3: Season to taste and add oil and vinegar

  • Step 4: Let set covered until cooled add rest of ingredients

  • Step 5: Instead of watercress I might add a tablespoon or two of parsley
