Step 1: Dough:
Step 2: Sift flour with salt, add yeast.
Step 3: Cut in butter, add beaten egg yolks, sour cream and vanilla extract.
Step 4: Stir until just blended.
Step 5: Wrap in wax paper and chill while making filling.
Step 6: Filling:
Step 7: Beat egg whites until stiff.
Step 8: Gradually fold in sugar, nuts and vanilla extract.
Step 9: Brush pastry board with powdered sugar.
Step 10: Divide dough into 8 parts.
Step 11: Keep balance of dough refrigerated while working on each part.
Step 12: Roll out each portion of dough very thin and round.
Step 13: Cut into 8 wedges with pizza cutter.
Step 14: Put one teaspoon of filling on each broad part of wedge and roll up from the broad outside side.
Step 15: Curl and place on buttered pam sprayed baking sheet, tips down.
Step 16: Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.
Step 17: When cool
Step 18: Put sugar mixture in sieve and sprinkle the horns with powdered sugar.(I included cinnamon in mine)
