  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon tabasco sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 package (10 ounces)frozen chopped spinach,thawed
  • 16 ounces heavy cream ,(1 1/2 cups)
  • 1 pound oysters,minced,(1 1/2 cups)

  • Step 1: Heat butter in stock pot

  • Step 2: Add shallots and onions

  • Step 3: Cook until tender

  • Step 4: Add spices and flour

  • Step 5: Add stock and spinach cook until thickened

  • Step 7: And blend with stick blender until smooth

  • Step 8: Add oysters and simmer until oysters are just done

  • Step 9: Check for seasonings
