  • 2 tablespoons flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups onions,chopped
  • 1 clove garlic,smashed
  • 6 cups beef broth
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 tablespoons parsley,minced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 package (8 ounces) dry wide egg noodles,amish

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put seasoning in flour

  • Step 2: Dredge meat through flour

  • Step 3: Using all of it

  • Step 4: Heat butter in stockpot

  • Step 5: Add beef/flour mixture

  • Step 6: And brown

  • Step 7: Add onions

  • Step 8: Add garlic

  • Step 9: Add broth and herbs

  • Step 10: Add carrots

  • Step 11: Bring to boil

  • Step 12: Skim foam off top

  • Step 13: Simmer for 2 hours until meat is tender

  • Step 14: Remove bay leaf

  • Step 15: Last 15 minutes add noodles

  • Step 16: Check for seasonings
