Step 1: Combine the flour, paprika salt and pepper.
Step 2: Add beef and toss to coat.
Step 3: In a Dutch oven
Step 4: Brown the beef in oil in batches
Step 5: Add the onions, garlic
Step 6: Add dill, caraway, paprika and water.(can add beef bouillon)
Step 7: Add beef back in
Step 8: Add carrots and mushrooms
Step 9: Cover and simmer for 2 hours or until meat is tender, stirring occasionally. Adding water as needed your braising so water is kept low
Step 10: Stir in sour cream and 1 tablespoon flour mixed in
Step 11: Heat through but do not boil.
Step 12: Heat sauerkraut
Step 13: Drain and spoon onto a serving platter. Top with the beef mixture.
Step 14: Sprinkle with paprika.
