Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Fruit:
  • 6 peaches, large,peeled,pitted,sliced
  • 2 ounces sugar
  • 4 tablespoons peach brandy
  • Cream:
  • 7 ounces sugar
  • 10 egg yolks
  • 32 ounces milk (1 quart)
  • 16 ounces heavy cream, (2 cups),whipped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Fruit

  • Step 2: Put all together in ziploc bag and let marinate at least 2 hours

  • Step 3: Cream:

  • Step 4: Mix egg yolks 1 cup milk sugar and vanilla with a wire whisk

  • Step 5: Heat remaining 3 cups milk until hot

  • Step 6: Temper eggs

  • Step 7: Add hot milk SLOWLY into the custard beating with whisk (electric mixer handy here)

  • Step 8: Let cool

  • Step 9: Add peaches mixture

  • Step 10: Fold in whipped cream

  • Step 11: Put in the freezer
