Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 pounds potatoes,peeled,sliced
  • Marinade:
  • 1⁄2 cup vinegar
  • 1⁄2 cup sugar
  • 1⁄4 cup salad oil
  • 1 cup red onion, chopped
  • Additions:
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 large dill pickles, diced
  • 2 eggs, hard boiled,chopped
  • 1/4 cup cucumber,peeled,chopped
  • 2 ounces ham,cubed

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook the potatoes in boiling water

  • Step 2: 6 big ones

  • Step 3: Slice and keep warm.

  • Step 4: While the potatoes are cooking

  • Step 5: Fix marinade:

  • Step 6: Combine vinegar, sugar, salt & pepper to taste, oil, and onion in a small bowl;

  • Step 7: Stir until sugar dissolves .

  • Step 8: Drain potatoes

  • Step 9: Pour marinade over hot potatoes

  • Step 10: Toss to mix;

  • Step 11: Let set several hours at room temperature.

  • Step 12: Just before serving put in what add ins you like
