  • 1½ pounds tomatoes, skinned and chopped
  • 5 tablespoons dry white wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil,minced

  • Step 1: Heat the oil in a saucepan

  • Step 6: Puree sauce with a wand processor.

  • Step 7: Stir in basil
