Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 cups cornbread, (1 medium pan cornbread)
  • 4 ounces white bread,toasted,crumbled (4 slices)
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups onions, chopped
  • 6 eggs
  • 1⁄4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoons dried sage,to taste
  • 2 cups turkey stock,(can use chicken broth)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix together bread and corn bread that has been crumbled with stock from turkey.

  • Step 2: Be sure to use enough stock so it will not be stiff.

  • Step 3: (Add sage here and check for flavor before adding eggs start with 1 teaspoon .I like sage so I'm adding more)

  • Step 4: Saute onions and celery in butter until tender

  • Step 5: Add eggs and remaining ingredients.

  • Step 6: (Put in pam sprayed casserole covered)

  • Step 7: Bake slowly for one hour( 325 degrees )
