  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 8 ounces baby carrots
  • 1 pound new potatoes
  • 1 pound turnips ,peeled,chopped
  • 4 ounces frozen pearl onions
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley,minced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heavily season meat

  • Step 2: In dutch oven get oil hot and sear on all sides a darker brown

  • Step 3: Add wine to deglaze pan add beef stock and bay leaf

  • Step 4: Bake in 350 degree oven 60 minutes covered

  • Step 5: Add vegetables around roast

  • Step 6: Bake another hour until meat is tender

  • Step 7: Add parsley last
