Step 1: Heat oil in large saucepan and sauté onions and garlic (garlic last 2 minutes)over medium heat until tender, about 8 minutes.
Step 2: Do not brown.
Step 3: Add meat and sauté until lightly colored. Drain off excess fat before adding cumin, chili powder, and Tabasco.
Step 4: Add tomatoes with their juices and hot water.
Step 5: Bring to a boil, lower heat, and simmer about 60 minutes stirring occasionally
