Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2/3 cup butter,softened
  • 1 1/4 cups honey
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest, grated
  • 1/2 tsp orange flavoring
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 F

  • Step 2: Mix together the butter and honey.

  • Step 3: Sift the dry ingredients

  • Step 4: Then add to the honey mixture

  • Step 5: Fold in beaten egg, grated orange rind ,(no white part of the rind)orange flavoring and orange juice.

  • Step 6: Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

  • Step 7: Drop the batter in teaspoonfuls and bake for about 8 - 10 minutes.

  • Step 8: When done, leave on cookie sheet for 5 minutes then place on a cooling rack until cool.
