Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/4 cup raisins (golden raisins, sultanas)
  • 1/4 cup currants
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup candied mixed fruit peel
  • 2 tablespoons candied cherries (chopped)
  • 1 lemon, grated zest and juice
  • 1 orange, grated zest only
  • 1 apple (Granny Smith, peeled, cored and shredded)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tablespoons bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons brandy
  • 2 tablespoons rum

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a bowl add all the ingredients and stir to combine. Leave at room temperature for at least 24 hours and then transfer to a glass container and stir to combine and then if desired stir in some additional brandy or rum. Refrigerate covered for up to 2 weeks.
