Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Stock:
  • 1 pound turkey giblets
  • 4 cups water ,boiling
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup celery,leaves ,minced
  • Stuffing:
  • 6 cups cornbread crumbs ,dry ,crumbled
  • 3 tablespoons onion,minced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley,minced
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups celery,chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Get stock cooking

  • Step 2: Replace water as it simmers down

  • Step 3: Gizzards have to be tender

  • Step 4: After stock cooks down

  • Step 5: Put cornbread in a bowl

  • Step 6: Saute onions and celery in butter

  • Step 7: When tender

  • Step 8: Pour over cornbread

  • Step 9: Add 2 cups of the strained broth

  • Step 10: Your using the giblets in the gravy

  • Step 11: And no one wants bay leaves in their mouth .remove them

  • Step 12: Stir until just moistened

  • Step 13: They would Stuff the turkey now. but you can put in casserole and bake it

  • Step 14: At 350 degrees covered 30 minutes
