How to Make

  • Step 1: Beat eggs in a heavy saucepan until thick.

  • Step 2: Gradually add sugar, beating well.

  • Step 3: Add milk and whipping cream.

  • Step 4: Mix well.

  • Step 5: Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low.

  • Step 6: Continue cooking and stirring until mixture thickens and coats a metal spoon.

  • Step 7: Let cool.

  • Step 8: Stir in peaches and pour into freezer can of a 1-gallon ice cream freezer.

  • Step 9: Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.

  • Step 10: Makes 1 gallon.
