  • 1 cup sweet onion,diced
  • 2 garlic cloves,smashed
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin ,to taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon oregano
  • 3 tablespoon chili powder,to taste
  • 1 can (10 ounces)rotel tomatoes ,(hot)
  • 3/4 cup chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper ,to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • 1/8 teaspoon hot sauce

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a deep skillet

  • Step 2: Saute the meat, onion, and garlic over medium-high heat and cook until mostly cooked through.

  • Step 3: Season with salt and pepper.

  • Step 4: Add the cumin, chili powder, oregano, Rotel, hot sauce, and stock.

  • Step 5: Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer partially covered for at least 1 hour or until most of the liquid has cooked down.

  • Step 6: Skim off fat while cooking.

  • Step 7: Salt to taste.
