  • 1 package (9 ounces) chocolate wafer cookies,crushed
  • 4 tablespoons butter,melted
  • Filling:
  • 16 ounces cream cheese,softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 8 1/2 ounces sour cream ,(1 cup)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 250 degrees

  • Step 2: Crust

  • Step 3: In food processor mix the cookies and then butter

  • Step 4: Grease a 10 inch springform pan

  • Step 5: Pat cookie mixture in

  • Step 6: Bake 10 minutes

  • Step 7: Filling:

  • Step 8: Raise temperature to 300 degrees

  • Step 9: Mix cream cheese and sugar in electric mixer bowl for 10 minutes

  • Step 10: Scrape down bowl and add the eggs 1 at a time beat until completely combined

  • Step 11: Then add the juice of the lemon and zest of the lemon

  • Step 12: Beat

  • Step 13: Add sour cream

  • Step 14: Beat

  • Step 15: Bake in the center of oven for 60 minutes until the center of cake is a bit wobbly

  • Step 16: Chill before serving
