Step 1: Boil 4 sweet potatoes until tender. Remove skin.
Step 2: Cut into large cubes.
Step 3: Put into saucepan, then add: diced carrots (matchstick size), broccoli, string beans, mushrooms and brown sugar (I would start with a tablespoon) and butter.
Step 4: And the water and simmer until veggies are softened.
Step 5: Add the cream until hot, don't boil.
