Step 8: Crumble in bacon and add ham.
Step 9: Simmer for 45 minutes.
Step 10: Meanwhile, chop okra and brown lightly in bacon grease.
Step 11: After gumbo mixture has cooked 45 minutes, add the okra.
Step 12: Cook for 20 minutes more.
Step 13: Add seafood and cook until shrimp is cooked, about 5 minutes more.
Step 14: Add parsley and green onions.
