Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 can (15 ounces)pumpkin
  • 1 can (12 ounces)evaporated milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 box (15.25 ounce) yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup walnuts,chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 sticks butter
  • Frosting:
  • 1 package (8 ounces )cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup cool whip
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  • Step 2: Pam spray 9x13 cake pan (they used parchment paper too)

  • Step 3: Mix pumpkin, milk, eggs, cinnamon and sugar.

  • Step 4: Pour in cake pan .

  • Step 5: Pour 1/2 box of yellow cake mix over it. Sprinkle walnuts (save some for topping) on cake mix.

  • Step 6: Layer other 1/2 of cake mix (dry mix straight from the box).

  • Step 7: Melt butter and spoon over the top evenly.

  • Step 8: Bake 350-degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. When cool, loosen from side of pan. Invert pan onto a tray (the top is the crust).

  • Step 9: Frost with frosting and sprinkle with walnuts.

  • Step 10: Cut into squares
