Step 1: Rinse beans and soak overnight in water to cover.
Step 2: Drain and place beans in a large saucepan; cover with water
Step 3: Add onions and simmer 1 hour or until tender.
Step 4: Drain and pour into a 2-quart bean pot or casserole.
Step 5: Combine molasses, brown sugar, salt and dry mustard.
Step 6: Add boiling water; mix well.
Step 7: Pour over beans.
Step 8: Place salt pork on top.
Step 9: Cover and bake at 300 for 5 hours, adding water if top seems dry.
Step 10: Uncover and bake 1 more hour.
