Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Shell:
  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 1 cup soda cracker crumbs,fine
  • 1/2 cup onions,minced
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper,minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • Filling:
  • 1 can ( 10 ounces) tomato soup
  • 16 ounces cooked white rice,(3 cups)
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese,shredded

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  • Step 2: Shell:

  • Step 3: Mix sausage with onion bell pepper cracker crumbs and 1/2 the can of tomato soup

  • Step 4: Season to taste

  • Step 5: Place in a 10 inch pie shell

  • Step 6: Filling :

  • Step 7: Mix rice cheese rest of tomato soup

  • Step 8: Season to taste

  • Step 9: Place in sausage shell

  • Step 10: Place aluminum foil under pie plate in oven

  • Step 11: Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour (covered for 30 minutes)

  • Step 12: Cut in 6 wedges
