The ingredients are:
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (pure)
  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (grainy)
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (or to taste)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Whisk together all marinade ingredients in a small bowl.

  • Step 2: Pour over 2 lbs (907g) chicken pieces, turn pieces to coat evenly with marinade, cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

  • Step 3: Preheat oven to 375F.

  • Step 4: Bake thighs and drumsticks for 40-45 minutes or breasts for 30-35 minutes.
