  • 1 cup pureed pumpkin (puree)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup walnuts (chopped)
  • Maple syrup (for serving)
  • Whipped topping (optional, for serving)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 350° Fahrenheit. Get out a 9x9-in baking dish. Spray or coat it with oil.

  • Step 2: Mix everything together in a large bowl except the last three ingredients.

  • Step 3: Pour into the baking dish. Add the 1/4 cup walnuts on top.

  • Step 4: Put into the oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are brown and it's set in the middle.

  • Step 5: Pour some maple syrup over each piece. Add whipped topping if desired.
