Step 1: Place 6 1/2 cups of water in a saucepan and add the cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Bring to a boil, turn down the heat to low, cover the pan, and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and add the tea bags. Let the tea bags steep for 3 - 4 minutes, or up to 5 minutes for stronger brew. Strain the tea into a clean saucepan, stir in the Tang and almond extract, and let cool to room temperature before refrigerating.
Step 2: Serve over ice in tall 12-ounce glasses and garnish each serving with a slice of orange or lemon.
